"Hmm? Ye Chen, Alvida must have a lot of treasure on her ship, right?"
Nami's eyes darted to the side, then lit up. Ye Chen didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He knew exactly what she was thinking.
Ye Chen nodded. "She's a Pirate. How many broke Pirates have you met?"
Then Ye Chen called toward the cabin, "Lucci, you heard that, didn't you? Alvida wants to steal our treasure, so I've decided to fight back. That counts as self-defense, right?"
Lucci was too rigid. If Ye Chen had simply led everyone over to rob Alvida, Lucci would have hated it.
But now things were different. Alvida had just ordered her crew to seize the treasure aboard Ye Chen's ship. Ye Chen had stopped them before they could act, but at least he had a reason to strike.
Lucci didn't come out. He merely gave a cold snort. "Do as you like!"
Ye Chen grinned and nodded to Nami. "I'll have it sorted in a moment. Just get ready to count your money, you little miser!"
