Kuro was nearly out of his mind with rage. For all his schemes, he was helpless against someone as unpredictable as Ye Chen.

With that, Ye Chen turned away and ignored him completely.

Kuro had no food, no water, and not a shred of freedom. He hated Ye Chen so much he wanted to kill him, but he could only endure it. Ye Chen and Lucci were both too strong.

After a while, Kuro saw that Ye Chen had fallen asleep. An idea came to him. He suddenly slumped to the floor, his face twisting as though he were in terrible pain. Gin froze, then hurried over. "What's wrong?"

A sharp Cat Claw shot toward Gin. Caught off guard, he barely avoided a fatal blow. Kuro seized the chance to dart toward the cargo hold door like lightning.

He moved as fast as the wind, leaving only an Afterimages. But just as he was about to reach the door, someone stepped into his path. "Kuro, leaving already? Why not say goodbye first?"
