Onigumo was startled. He hadn't expected the chase to lead him to this woman's quarters.
"Vice Admiral Onigumo, where are you looking?"
Hancock frowned and hurriedly pulled her cloak closed with both hands. Beneath it, she wore only a thin nightdress.
Even with the cloak covering her, her long, pale legs remained exposed. Though Onigumo was a vice admiral from Marine Headquarters, he lost his focus for a moment. Hancock's rebuke made his face flush, and he quickly looked away.
"These are my quarters. What do you mean by making such a racket? Am I supposed to get any sleep?"
Hancock drew herself up proudly and pointed a cold finger at Onigumo. Even the Marines who arrived behind him were stunned.
Hancock was a peerless beauty. Countless people dreamed of seeing her just once. With her breathtaking face and the bearing of a queen who looked down on everyone, she could have had any number of people willingly become her slaves with a single nod.
"I'm pursuing Ye Chen. My apologies, but if you don't mind, I'd like to search your room."
As Onigumo spoke, he turned to look at Hancock again. One glance was enough to redden his face once more, and even his breathing grew heavier.
