Moria knelt on one knee, panting with exhaustion. The wrinkles on his forehead drew tight, and his face was full of disbelief and frustration.
Since losing to Kaido of the Beasts in the New World, Moria had never lost to anyone else. He had never imagined Doflamingo would be so much stronger than he expected. Less than two hours after their fight began, Moria had been defeated.

Pica did not pursue him. Everyone turned to look at Moria. His face was frighteningly pale, and his right leg was drenched in blood. Doflamingo had nearly severed it with his String-String Ability.
