"Ye Chen, come closer. Let me get a good look at you!"
Olvia was injured and still in shackles, but the sight of Ye Chen filled her with excitement. Her near-lifeless body suddenly seemed to find its strength again.
Ye Chen nodded firmly. "Mm."
He hurried closer. The cabin was so dim that their faces were almost touching. Olvia gently stroked his cheek, and Ye Chen could clearly feel how much rougher her once soft, fair hand had become.
"It's been ten years, hasn't it?"
Olvia fought back her tears, but her voice still caught.
"Mm. Ten whole years!" Ye Chen nodded.
So many years had passed that Olvia could barely recognize him. Still, she was relieved and happy. No matter how much Ye Chen had changed, in her eyes, he was still the same.
At only six or seven, he had dared to fight the War Wolves alone. So that the two of them could survive in Freezing Hell, Ye Chen had challenged them again and again with his small, frail body. With those young shoulders, he had also given Olvia hope and someone to lean on.

Ye Chen straightened at once. "Aunt Olvia, I have to go. Don't
