"Granny Nyon! Granny Nyon..."
As Ye Chen made his way into Rainbase, the city of dreams in Alubarna, the Empress suddenly fell ill back on Amazon Lily.
It was well past midnight, and Granny Nyon was sleeping soundly when Rindou burst into her cottage. She hurried over and pulled Granny Nyon straight out of bed.
Granny Nyon had been enjoying a sweet dream, perhaps reliving a romance from her youth. Her wrinkled face was flushed bright red, and drool ran from her mouth. When Rindou threw back the covers, she frowned at a faint, musky smell.
"Huh? What is it?"
Granny Nyon woke looking deeply embarrassed. Seeing Rindou eye the bedding, she blushed and quickly blocked her view while haphazardly folding up the covers.
Rindou shook her head. There was no time to ask about the smell. Remembering why she had come, she said, "Granny Nyon, please come quickly! The Snake Princess has suddenly fallen ill. She looks miserable, and none of us knows what to do. Everyone's frantic!"
Startled, Granny Nyon grabbed her cane and hurried to the Empress's palace.
Even at that late hour, the Empress's palace blazed with light, bright as day. The maids in the corridors all looked uneasy.
The Kuja Warriors and the crew of the Kuja Pirates had rushed over as well. When they saw Granny Nyon, they parted to let her through, pinning all their hopes on her. "Granny Nyon, you must help the Snake Princess get better!"
The closer she came to Hancock's chambers, the more tense the atmosphere grew. At the door, Marigold and Sandersonia were both in tears. The moment Granny Nyon Hard stepped inside, her eyes widened in shock.
The bed was a mess. Hancock's long hair hung loose, and she writhed across the sheets, twisting like a snake.
