Several commodores shouted from behind Ye Chen and charged forward, hoping to help take him down.
Ye Chen turned and threw a punch in one fluid motion. His fist whistled through the air, sending a powerful shockwave crashing toward them. Before they could get close, it blasted them away. They flew a long distance before dropping to the ground one after another.
"Damn it!"
Vergo clenched his teeth. While Ye Chen dealt with the commodores, he leaped with all his strength, shooting upward like a rocket before hurtling straight at Ye Chen.
He used his body as a weapon. Bang! Vergo's head slammed into Ye Chen.
Then he gave a puzzled grunt. Something felt wrong. Looking up, he discovered he had slammed into Ye Chen's backside. Ye Chen had clearly done it on purpose.
Vergo had not planned to hit him there. Ye Chen had deliberately jumped up—or rather, used his backside to block Vergo.
"Ahahaha..."
Ye Chen laughed, then said awkwardly, "Sorry. I suddenly felt a fart coming on."
"A fart?"
Before Vergo could work out what he meant, Ye Chen actually let one rip.
Vergo's face flushed red with embarrassment, and his Haki slipped away before he could stop it.
Haki was like Qigong: it demanded complete focus. Even the slightest lapse would not do.
The moment Vergo lost his focus, Ye Chen's fist came down without mercy.
The punch drove Vergo into the ground, carving out a crater dozens of meters across. His whole body twitched, and before long, he lost consciousness.
Though Ye Chen had defeated Vergo and Momonga, he had not dealt either of them a fatal blow.
