With a single punch, Ace had engulfed hundreds of Marines in flames. Rear Admiral Paul was stunned. He had no memory of this young man, but he knew Ace had to be strong. As he shouted a question at Ace, Paul clenched his fists.

"Heh... Me? I'm Ace. Nice to meet you!"

Ace seemed a little shy, as though introducing himself in front of so many people made him nervous.

He bowed politely, his manner graceful and friendly, every inch a well-bred gentleman.

As a child, though, Ace had never bothered with manners. He let his fists do the talking and was quick to throw a punch at the slightest disagreement.

But Makino had gradually taught him to be polite. Once he grew up, Ace was humble and warm wherever he went, like a friendly older brother from next door.

Paul stared at him, his expression strange. This fellow had just taken down hundreds of his men, yet he was so polite. Paul searched his memory, but the name meant nothing to him.

"Ace?" His arrival had caught Ye Chen's attention too. Ye Chen feinted, forcing Doberman back for a moment, then sprang off the ground. He streaked through the air like a meteor and landed in front of Ace.

"Ye Chen!"

Ace's bright eyes widened with excitement. He hurriedly bowed. "I'm sorry it took me until now to thank you. Thank you for saving my little brother Luffy back then."

Ye Chen shrugged and waved it off. "It was nothing worth mentioning. You haven't been at sea long, have you?"

He hadn't expected to run into Ace here, much less find him so much stronger. From what Ye Chen could see, Ace had gained a Logia ability.
