Ye Chen left the cell and, still uneasy, shut the door behind him. But he had not gone far before he came running back, his face pale with panic and fear. Behind him came a series of explosions from slave collars. The slaves who had rushed out had been blown up before they could even reach the prison entrance. As Ye Chen returned to Hancock's side, the Beasts that had charged out of the stone building came stampeding back as well. Like him, they seemed to have seen something terrifying.

"It's the Dragon Guards! Great! They've driven the Beasts back!"

A cheer rose from the prison entrance in the distance. Still shaken, Ye Chen hurried into the cell and shut the door behind him.

The Beasts that had burst out of the torture chamber fled back in a panic. Their former ferocity had vanished, and their cries were wretched as they raced along. Yet Beasts kept flying past from behind, blasted to death. Soon, ten terrifyingly skilled fighters appeared before Ye Chen. There were men and women among them. They wore white uniforms much like the prison guards', but each bore the emblem of a dragon and crown on the chest. Their killing intent was fierce—twice as strong as that of the CP9 agents Ye Chen had encountered on Ohara.
