Ye Chen was furious. Dorry's sword came down again, its edge flashing like lightning with the force of a mountain falling. Before the blade reached him, a fierce gust whipped his clothes.
Ye Chen neither dodged nor retreated. He clenched his fist and leaped straight at it.
"Diamond Fist!"
His fist whistled through the air and slammed into the descending sword. Boom! For an instant, everything froze.
Neither Ye Chen nor Dorry moved. Even the fist and sword seemed suspended in place.
It was as though they had both been struck by a paralysis spell. In truth, there was only one reason: their strength was evenly matched, leaving them locked in a momentary stalemate.
Sparks burst from the clash. They held their ground for a long while before finally breaking apart. Ye Chen flipped backward several times and landed steadily, while Dorry staggered back a few steps.
"Watch out!"
Robin saw Brogy's Giant Axe coming down from behind and hurriedly warned Ye Chen.
