Robin called out anxiously as Ye Chen walked toward Blackbeard. When he looked back, she hurriedly shook her head.
Part of her worried that Ye Chen couldn't beat Blackbeard. She also didn't want him wasting any more time here.
But the sight of Blackbeard filled Ye Chen with rage. He couldn't bring himself to leave Impel Down as though nothing had happened.

Van Augur fired again, a hot tongue of flame bursting from the barrel. At this range, he was sure Ye Chen couldn't dodge. But Ye Chen twisted aside and shot out his right hand. Before everyone's astonished eyes, he caught the bullet between two fingers.

Ye Chen flicked a finger of his free hand. A streak of white light shot silently toward the center of Van Augur's brow, deadly despite its lack of sound.
Startled, Van Augur dodged aside. He had barely evaded the One Yang Finger when Ye Chen closed the distance in a stride and drove a massive fist into him.
