Ye Chen trembled all over, as though he had been thrown into an ancient ice cellar. His bones had gone limp, and he could not muster a shred of strength. He lay on the ground like a heap of boneless flesh.

The poison spread rapidly from his breastbone. Before long, his limbs and body seemed to have lost all support, as if his bones had melted away. Even lying on the ground, he was visibly collapsing in on himself.
