"Drink!"
A tavern on the street was packed and buzzing. A crowd had gathered around a table, erupting in thunderous cheers every few moments.
"Unbelievable! That man's already had twenty glasses. He can really hold his liquor!"
"The woman's keeping up with him. She's on her nineteenth."
The contestants were a man and a woman. The man was Zoro of the Grim Reaper Pirates; the woman was Blue Butterfly Maya, one of Luo Lin's lieutenants!
Maya was twenty-six, with a plump figure and a round, fleshy face. She was hearty by nature and could hold her liquor. She had challenged Zoro partly because she refused to be outdone, and partly because she hoped to capture him and earn Queen Luo Lin's favor.
Maya stood and raised her large glass. She gulped down every last drop in one go.
Zoro refused to be outdone and drained his glass too. The onlookers cheered without end.
Someone recognized Zoro and shouted even louder. "Isn't that Pirate Hunter Zoro? His bounty is worth tens of millions now! He's incredibly strong—one of the toughest fighters at Ye Chen's side."
"And the other one is Blue Butterfly Maya, one of Pleasure Valley's lieutenants. She's no pushover either. I can't wait to see which of them wins!"
They matched each other for thirty glasses straight. Zoro shook his head, arched his brows and gave his trademark cocky sneer. "Beer’s no fun. How about something stronger? Dare to drink Vodka?"
"Who's afraid of you? Boss, bring us twenty bottles of Vodka!" Maya breathed out a gust of alcohol and clenched her fist.
"Coming right up!"
The tavern owner wasted no time. Before long, he had carried over two crates of Vodka.
Aside from practicing swordsmanship, Zoro had two hobbies: drinking and sleeping.
He didn't care who Maya was.
