"Zoro, can you keep going? You look badly hurt. Your intestines are spilling out!" Kuina glanced at Zoro as the rest of Blackbeard's crew charged toward them.

Zoro shook his head, unconcerned. "So what if my intestines spill out? I'll just put them back!"

Kuina stared at him, speechless. Could he really do that? What an idiot. How could he say something so stupid?

Doc Q came charging in with the others. Since Ye Chen had killed his horse, he had found himself a donkey. The animal looked just as half-dead: it shook its head, wheezed after a few steps, and drooped like an old man on his last legs. A gust of wind seemed enough to knock it over.

Doc Q was cunning. As he drew near, his eyes darted around before settling on Zoro. Zoro was the most badly wounded, covered in blood and barely able to stand. To Doc Q, he looked like easy prey.

Doc Q drew his scythe, its blade flashing coldly, and urged the donkey toward Zoro. Kuina moved to help, but Zoro shook his head. "No need. I'm not so badly hurt that I need someone protecting me—especially a woman!"

Dragging his heavy feet, Zoro walked toward Doc Q, his eyes blazing with fearless resolve. Doc Q rode up on his donkey, looked down at him with a cold smile, and swung his scythe down.

"Hmph! I may be hurt, but you're nowhere near killing me yet." Zoro raised his swords to block. With a resounding clang, he stopped the scythe cold. Doc Q gave a small sound of surprise, then sneered. "I'm a doctor. You're badly wounded. You won't last much longer!"
