"To be honest, I haven't had a fight this satisfying in a long time. You've got some skill, but this is as far as you go. Do you really think you can beat me just by knocking me into the sea?" Kaido threw back his head and laughed. He was as arrogant as ever, looking down on everyone.
"It's not over yet." Ye Chen smiled faintly and clenched his fist again. A milky-white sphere of light formed around it. As with Whitebeard, this was the prelude to unleashing the power he had gained from mastering the Fist Technique Profound Meaning. Like an energy shield, it gathered all his strength in an instant.
Ye Chen sprinted across the sea, his feet barely touching the water. In the blink of an eye, he reached Kaido, leaped up, and drove a fist toward his chest.
"Useless! An attack at this level means nothing to me!" Kaido sneered and met it with his massive fist.
Boom!
Just as before, every clash between them shook heaven and earth. Their power surged in every direction, enough to make the world tremble. Every exchange felt capable of destroying everything around them.
"Now this is a fight!"
Kaido laughed with delight, his mighty body still standing firm.
Ye Chen pressed his attack. Kaido was still immensely strong, but he was in the sea, where he could not move as freely as he could on land. His legs, in particular, were all but useless.
With more than half his body submerged, Kaido could only keep swinging his fists. Ye Chen resolved to hammer away at his head. Even if it became a battle of endurance, he would bring Kaido down.
"What's going on? Why hasn't Kaido's strength weakened at all?" Trafalgar Law asked from aboard the Death God.
