Hancock was brave, but in this respect, she couldn't match Nami. Whenever a fight broke out, Nami was terrified and hid as far away as she could. Yet she dared to sneak into Ye Chen's room.
Ye Chen returned to his bedroom and fell straight into bed. After one fierce battle against a powerful opponent after another, his body still hadn't fully recovered. He needed a good rest. And however sharp his Observation Haki was, he wasn't about to stay on high alert aboard his own ship. He didn't notice when Nami climbed into his bed.
Only when his clothes had been stripped off did Ye Chen open his eyes. "Who's—" He got no further before Nami pressed her lips to his.
The enemy had come right to his doorstep, so Ye Chen had no choice but to fight back. Besides, what normal man could resist Nami's advances?
Nami didn't have an easy time of it, though. She arrived in high spirits and left with a limp, barely able to walk.
The voyage to Laugh Tale was anything but smooth. If troublesome pirates weren't getting in their way, foul weather was. None of it stopped them. After more than ten days at sea, they passed through the mist-shrouded Sea of Mist, and Ye Chen's group finally reached Laugh Tale.
But before anyone could celebrate, two unfamiliar, uninvited visitors appeared behind them.
"Look! Is someone following us?"
Everyone turned. A red figure was hurtling toward them through the sky. As it drew closer, they made out a strange-looking man flying like an enormous bat.
