Hippo Ancient City, an ancient city-state built at the junction of the Ice Plains, Grasslands, and Wasteland, had a history of nearly two thousand years. Over that long span of time, it had changed hands countless times, yet aside from growing old and worn, the city-state itself had not changed much.
Christie's appearance caused quite a stir in the city-state. However, as the slave trade gradually unfolded, that sensation had long since faded away. Even the great battle between Li Ziran and the Ancient Clans above the rainforest had become an irrelevant topic.

Without the rainforest, and without the banner of the Primordial Elves, the elven tribes led by Ke'er were rapidly withering away.
Although Ke'er had vigorously promoted Li Ziran's Organology in a vain attempt to revive the Elves, such a resurgence would inevitably come
