Dao Xuan built an Inner World and advanced to the Primordial Golden Immortal realm, then sought spiritual roots to help it grow. He arrived at Longevity Mountain to ask Zhen Yuanzi for Ginseng Fruit Tree cuttings.
Dao Xuan gathered spiritual-root branches and other origins to develop his Inner World, clashing with the Demon Heavenly Court and Jieyin and Zhunti along the way. The five-element roots advanced the world, and Dao Xuan welcomed a new oceanic overlord while leaving the Roc and remaining roots to mature in their own time.
Dao Xuan perfected his Inner World and attained the Hunyuan Daluo Golden Immortal realm by refining a Chaos-born world, while Nuwa created humanity and became a Saint. The arc ended with Nuwa revealing Dao Xuan’s role in her path as she established Taisu Heaven and began preaching the Dao.
Dao Xuan guided his friends and the Human Tribe while the Primordial World’s mighty beings established teachings and attained sainthood. He then helped Houtu create the Six Paths of Reincarnation, leaving her in control of the Netherworld and Minghe newly proven as a Dao.
Dao Xuan helped establish the Netherworld, protected the Human Tribe, and prepared for the Witch-Demon war, which ended with the deaths of the leading Witches and demons and the damage to Heaven and Earth. He defeated Hongjun, secured the Chaos Bell, and became Deputy Sect Master of the Mysterious Sect.
