  • Hongjun declared that he could not defeat Dao Xuan through laws and summoned the Order Dharma Wheel, which made Dao Xuan sense a powerful threat.

Ch. 124An incredibly powerful body

Dao Xuan defeated Hongjun’s Order Dharma Wheel by revealing a body cultivated to nearly match that of a Chaos Demon God. Hongjun admitted defeat, leaving Dao Xuan victorious in their battle.

  • Hongjun unleashed the Order Dharma Wheel, drawing on the Heavenly Dao to overwhelm Dao Xuan’s Five-Colored Divine Light.
  • The Order Dharma Wheel absorbed the power of Dao Xuan’s divine ability and charged toward him, while Hongjun expected him to rely on the Chaos Bell or reveal his Inner World.

Dao Xuan returned to the Mysterious Origin Realm with the Heavenly Mandate Gourd and Mount Buzhou’s severed section, leaving the relic’s use undecided.

  • Hongjun ordered Zhen Yuanzi to dissolve the Earth Immortal Church when he became Heavenly Emperor, and Dao Xuan guided Hong Yun toward founding a church of his own.
  • Hongjun declared that the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors would guide the Human Tribe, and Dao Xuan said their candidates and imperial tutors would bring great merit and fortune.

Ch. 129Refining Mount Buzhou

Dao Xuan’s Inner World completed its Heaven-Earth-Human Three Realms, strengthening its laws and its inhabitants, though he remained at the late stage of the Primordial Daluo Golden Immortal realm. After patiently refining half of Mount Buzhou, he discovered countless profound Great Dao laws within it and moved to the World Tree’s crown with the Creation Cauldron.

Ch. 132The thirty-six heavens, Fuxi's reincarnation

The Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors were assigned, and Nuwa learned that Fuxi’s opportunity to become a Human Emperor had arrived. Fuxi prepared to reincarnate, trusting that he would attain the Dao and return to Nuwa.

  • Hong Yun and Zhen Yuanzi used Confucian teachings to train Heavenly Court officials, making the court increasingly difficult for the Saints to influence.
  • Dao Xuan’s decree settled Fuxi and Black Tortoise as two of the Three Sovereigns, with Hong Yun assigned to guide Fuxi and Minghe claiming Black Tortoise for the Asura Sect.

  • Nuwa ordered the Golden Feather Immortal Maiden to travel to the Northern Darkness Sea and summon Kunpeng.
  • The Golden Feather Immortal Maiden flew from Taisu Heaven through Chaos into the Primordial World, where she felt freer despite the diminished spiritual Qi.
  • Kunpeng’s resentment over losing his chance at Sainthood led him to target Hong Yun, but Hong Yun became a Sage and Kunpeng’s plans failed.
  • Kunpeng foresaw the Demon Tribe’s decline and fled the final great battle, taking Dijun’s River Diagram and Luo Writing with him.

Ch. 134Kunpeng's Ambition

After fleeing the Witch-Demon Battlefield with Dijun’s River Diagram and Luo Writing, Kunpeng hid in the Northern Darkness Sea and refined the River Diagram to advance his cultivation. His progress ended when Fairy Golden Phoenix arrived with Empress Nuwa’s Edict, and Kunpeng suspected Nuwa had summoned him over the treasures.

  • Kunpeng returned to the Northern Darkness Sea, accepting his ruined reputation because he had survived the Witch-Demon Calamity.
  • Kunpeng pursued Three-Corpse-Slaying Dao-Proving, hoping to sever his Obsession Corpse with a suitable Innate Spiritual Treasure.
  • Kunpeng realized the River Diagram suited his innate nature and could help him advance, so he spent years refining it in seclusion.
  • Kunpeng refined more than half of the River Diagram’s Forty-Eight Innate Restrictions and felt his stagnant Dao attainment begin to rise.
