Wisdom is not about scheming, but it means seeing clearly the gains and losses, disasters and blessings, judging the situation, choosing the right path, knowing how to advance and retreat, and being clear about Karma.
Courage is the vanguard of teaching. You should keep the path without fear, and never retreat in the face of difficulties. When benevolence needs to be protected and justice must be upheld, even if you face a strong enemy or Calamity Cycle is overturned, you still dare to stand up and take responsibility. Courage does not mean being brave and ruthless, but knowing that the road ahead is dangerous, but still unwilling to abandon the original intention of benevolence and righteousness, and sacrifice one's life to defend the way.
In this way, benevolence maintains the heart, righteousness establishes the bones, etiquette determines the behavior, wisdom and discernment, and courage to guard the way. Unity of the Five, that is Confucian Great Dao, not seeking to dominate Primordial World, but educating and transforming all living beings, and retaining the original intention.
