As Itachi struggled to choose between the village and his family, he noticed strange changes among the Uchiha and left to meet someone he feared.

• Sarutobi was about to order the Uchiha’s extermination when the Nine-Tails appeared and began destroying Konoha.

• An Yi immobilized Danzo, destroyed his remaining Sharingan, and forced him to watch Konoha burn as she stripped away his skin.
• Sosuke and the Uchiha attacked the Hyuga Grounds with Susanoo, killing Hiashi and many of his clansmen, including Hinata.
• Uchiha squads stormed the other major clan grounds, and the Third emerged from the ruins to see Konoha consumed by destruction.

Might Guy used the Eight Gates to devastate the Uchiha fighters but died after saving Naruto and battling Chika. With Konoha overrun and transformed, Hane prepared to begin the contest against the Main World and ordered the Uchiha to assemble those able to travel between the two worlds.

• Guy opened the Eight Gates, destroyed Arayama's Susanoo, and left Arayama near death before crippling Chika's Susanoo and losing an arm to Retsuyō's blade.
• Chika used Death God Arrival to survive as a soul, while Retsuyō and Chika found Arayama alive and Naruto badly injured with the Nine-Tails weakened beside him.
• Hane watched Guy die as the Uchiha takeover left Konoha silent, then saw a vast city overlay the ruined village and its dead become starlight.

• Sarutobi and Kakashi reached the Land of Fire’s capital, and Sarutobi blamed Konoha’s destruction on the Uchiha’s resentment over their clan relocation.
• The Daimyo angrily condemned Sarutobi, ordered an investigation, and sent him back to the reception quarters; Sarutobi then told Kakashi to search for Tsunade and Jiraiya.
• Akatsuki and Black Zetsu dispatched White Zetsu to investigate Konoha after Obito failed to return, while news of Konoha’s strange situation spread across the Ninja World.
• The Empire invaded the Land of Water, rapidly conquering nearby small nations and taking nearly half the Land of Water’s territory.

Mei Terumi watched Konoha's long-range bombardment devastate Kirigakure, then led its surviving ninja toward the attackers. After the Empire's electromagnetic weapons annihilated most of her force and Ao died, a Kirigakure ninja carried Mei away from the battlefield.

• Mei Terumi and Ao searched for Konoha's attackers as successive barrages shattered Kirigakure's barrier and devastated the village.
• Mei ordered the Kirigakure ninja to advance toward the shells' origin while Major General Inoichi ordered the artillery to keep firing.
• Mei's forces reached Uchiha Taro's formation, where more than a hundred electromagnetic ninja fired coins that blasted through the incoming Kunai and struck the Kirigakure force.
• Mei survived the attack amid the destruction of her troops, while two skeletal warriors advanced alongside the Konoha ninja.

Uchiha Taro arrived in the conquered Land of Water and arranged for Ao to command the First Fleet in the Empire’s amphibious operation against the Land of Fire. Meanwhile, the original-world Mei Terumi escaped with Chojuro and decided to seek the Raikage’s help against Konoha.

• Taro reassured Ao that past grudges were over and urged him to prove the navy’s worth to the Empire.

In another timeline, an aged Naruto accepted a mysterious turtle’s offer to return to his youth and change the future, at the cost of killing his younger self and destroying an unknown existence.

• Black Zetsu sensed White Zetsu agents in the Imperial Capital, and Hane ordered him to control them and feed Akatsuki false information to lure them into a trap.
• Hane sent Konan to prepare Nagato and the others to devour the enemy’s origin, then made Kaguya help him process the imperial documents.

In the main world, Sarutobi’s allies learned of Konoha’s destruction and its sudden military expansion, while Adult Sasuke and Boruto encountered an advanced Konoha army and suspected the timeline had changed.

• Naruto agreed to travel to another timeline, and the First Otsutsuki appeared after the portal closed, realized the World Will had intervened, and fled as the Ninja World collapsed.
• Sarutobi told Tsunade and Jiraiya that the Uchiha had destroyed Konoha, then asked them to investigate the ruins while he and Kakashi prepared to attend the Five Kage Summit.

• Sasuke entered Hane’s office, saw Kaguya-hime serving tea and Konan handling documents, and recognized Konan as Akatsuki’s White Tiger.
