Scizor's body went out of control, stumbling backward across the uneven ground. When Piloswine used Earthquake not as an attack, but as a means of holding back and repelling its opponent, unless you weighed several tons, there was no stopping yourself from being pushed back.

But how many Pokémon weighed several tons?

Not even Wailord weighed that much, let alone Scizor.

Yet to Scizor, with its Instant Burst ability, that distance was no more than the blink of an eye.

Heiduo frowned slightly. To effectively lower Scizor's body temperature, the rainfall had to be heavy, which meant the rain clouds could not last long before dispersing.

Piloswine had successfully stalled until the rain stopped.

Should he switch Pokémon now, or keep fighting?

Pryce was unwilling to give Heiduo a chance to switch.

Piloswine's fur stood on end as an icy blue glow lit up across its body. A violent snowstorm surged from it, sweeping toward Scizor and blanketing it!

Scizor had intended to use Instant Burst to break free, only to suddenly discover that its lower body, especially its knee joints, had been frozen by the blizzard. When it raised its leg, chunks of ice cracked apart with sharp clicks!

So it was meant to hinder Instant Burst.

Scizor's gaze sharpened. Instant Burst sounded simple and effortless, but its activation conditions were actually rather demanding. At the very least, there could not be anything on its body that impeded its movement!

For Instant Burst, joints were even more crucial. Instant Burst generated tremendous heat through movement, rather than producing heat from the start.
