Tyranitar's adaptation and Mega Evolution testing took Heiduo nearly two full weeks.
Reaching 250 Friendship points had happened over a month ago. With the Soothe Bell's help, Heiduo's Friendship with it had progressed quickly, just in time for it to test its new form after evolving.
The results left the veteran Tyranitar utterly stunned.

As a Pokémon with overlord-level status on Mt. Silver, she naturally understood exactly how powerful Mega Tyranitar was. She even had the illusion that Mega Tyranitar could already rival her!
But how long had it been?

Mewtwo had been Mega Evolved by Blaine, while Rayquaza had been Mega Evolved by Ruby and Sapphire.
Heiduo could not say whether they could Mega Evolve independently. Pokémon Adventures had never explained it or shown it!
When the veteran Tyranitar learned that she could not evolve, her face filled with regret and disappointment. The sight made Heiduo awkward and somewhat guilty.
His ability to stir up trouble on Mt. Silver without getting surrounded and beaten by wild Pokémon definitely had something to do with the veteran Tyranitar. Otherwise, with the way he and his Pokémon attacked anyone they encountered on
