Beside Zhang Rui stood a boy of only nine, already nearly as tall as Zhang Rui's shoulder. He had delicate features, short spiky hair, and clear, spirited eyes.

Lincon glanced at the child hiding behind Zhang Rui. "It has been almost a year since the Sacred Court was established. We have not seen each other since then, have we?"
