Background
Lincon was left behind at Longwind Fortress when its commander and comrades departed to seek another route of survival. He remained alone for three years, surviving the Dark Age while repeatedly searching for the missing group. His twenty-sixth search fails after he finds Great Cang Village reduced to a dead zone, but he still records the route and maintains shrines in case the others ever return. 1
During this isolation, he develops an unusually restrained temperament and extensive knowledge of Dark Creatures. He initially believes the Seed Mark in his palm is his sole extraordinary advantage, only learning after absorbing one hundred Dark Creatures that it belongs to his secondary class, Plant Cultivator; his primary path is the Lord talent of the Longwind Fortress Guardian. 1 2
Lincon transforms Longwind Fortress from a decaying refuge into a settlement capable of producing food, housing survivors, defending itself with Spirit Plants and Runes, and eventually absorbing rival factions. His goal gradually shifts from waiting for his former comrades to establishing a lasting civilization able to resist darkness, human predation, and the Black Tide. 6 40 116 202
Appearance
Lincon is a tall, straight-backed young man who appears to be in his early twenties. He usually dresses simply in dark robes and carries himself with calm, deliberate movements rather than the arrogance commonly associated with powerful Ability Users. 107
- Black hair that appears crystalline gold under sunlight. 114
- Deep eyes and a composed expression that others compare to a still autumn lake. 107
- High nose bridge, sharp brow bones, and a ruggedly striking appearance. 114
- His Composite States replace his restrained appearance with brilliant armor, golden-red flames, and draconic gauntlets. 135 163
- In Solar Sunflower Armament, he is covered in platinum-white Sunflower Armor. 199
Personality
Three years of solitary survival leave Lincon emotionally muted, patient, and highly cautious. He rarely acts without understanding a threat, whether confronting Dark Creatures, negotiating with hostile cities, or cooperating with strangers such as Luo Chiyou. 2 120 122
He is practical rather than conventionally merciful. Lincon can kill infiltrators, exploit enemy forces as bait, and turn fallen enemies into resources, but he also refuses to abandon his people simply because they are weak or compromised. He protects Li Zhouhai during Mental Pollution, grants ordinary residents paths toward power, and uses the Core of the Spring of Life to save wounded defenders after the Territory War. 27 73 98 202
As Longwind Fortress grows, Lincon becomes more willing to display authority publicly. He learns that hope, systems, rewards, and personal protection can create stronger loyalty than fear alone, while still accepting that his territory needs the capacity to punish threats decisively. 73 113 180
Abilities & Skills
Lord Talent
Lincon’s primary talent allows him to establish and govern territory under his sphere of influence.
- Designates Longwind Fortress as his territory and uses Higher-Dimensional Manipulation to move or alter inanimate objects within it. 1 2
- Can control cultivated plants through the same authority, allowing him to reposition defensive formations and reshape terrain. 61 132
- Monitors Longwind Territory through a three-dimensional map, Shrines, and underground plant networks; intruders appear as visible markers regardless of darkness or stealth. 96 129 131
- Uses territorial manipulation to relocate the Misty Forest and force Flint City’s army into a prepared battlefield. 132
- His Rule Edict permits one territory-wide rule each month, though he initially remains cautious about its exact limits. 56
Seed Mark and Plant Cultivation
The Seed Mark is Lincon’s secondary-class talent and the foundation of his plant evolution.
- Identifies plants, reveals their evolution routes, and spends Sunlight to raise their levels or direct their development. 1 2
- Grants Plant Affinity and Accelerated Growth, allowing rapid cultivation and restoration of damaged plants. 1 47
- Evolves ordinary plants into food sources, defensive flora, Spirit Plants, and sentient guardians. 6 14 39
- Gains Photosynthesis, enabling Sunlight expenditure to accelerate the growth of mid- and high-tier plants. 213
- Uses rare materials such as Sunstones, Dark Matter Crystals, and Ashen Sigh Amber to unlock specialized evolution paths. 52 129 184
Cooperative Symbiosis
As an Ecological Architect, Lincon can establish symbiotic bonds between people and Spirit Plants.
- Contracts allow the human and plant to share growth, abilities, and damage; both parties’ survival becomes interconnected. 73
- Extends supernatural power to ordinary people as a reward for service to Longwind Fortress. 73
- Uses symbiosis to stabilize Rune Warriors by creating a three-way cycle between human, Dark Creature, and Spirit Plant. 98
- In Individual State, Lincon and contracted Spirit Plants remain separate while sharing portions of one another’s traits and abilities. 163
Composite State
Lincon can merge with contracted Spirit Plants to create personal weapons, armor, and transformation states.
- Solar Sunflower Armament — surrounds him with Purifying Fire and dramatically increases his physical strength, speed, and defense. It can be maintained for roughly five minutes because of its severe stamina cost. 119
- Dragonblood Gauntlet / Dragon Fist — layers the Dragonblood Flood Dragon Vine over the Solar Sunflower Armament, forming scaled crimson gauntlets and claws; its burden limits Lincon to roughly three minutes. 135
- Rift-Cleaving Dandelion — enables spatial escape, which he uses to bypass Ye Yuan’s Psychic Web and deliver the killing blow. 136
- Divine Morphing / Fire God manifestation — an untested third-stage form that releases overwhelming golden-red light, freezes Dark Creatures in instinctive fear, and causes the Fire God Tree and Seed of Life to react. 163
Rune Crafting
Lincon develops Runes from personal combat tools into technology usable by his territory.
- Masters Purification, Reinforcement, and Infusion Runes, using them in Shrines, weapons, and defensive formations. 35 36
- Creates consumable Rune Stones, allowing ordinary residents to activate Rune effects without Lincon continuously maintaining the inscriptions. 36
- Builds Rune Arrays, including Reinforced Purification Shrines and a Purification Rune Array capable of cleansing the air. 36
- Learns the Intermediate Precision Rune path, which emphasizes flawless technique and grants derived Runes including Combo, Endurance, Adaptation, Precision, and Heart-Speed. 203
Xingyi Fist and Physical Combat
Lincon’s martial ability is enhanced by both classes and later by internal energy.
- Trained in ancient Xingyi Fist by a former comrade; initially considered it calisthenics before his enhanced attributes turned it into a lethal discipline. 7
- Routinely overpowers body-enhancement Ability Users despite presenting himself as merely a Plant Cultivator. 27
- Uses qi-like internal energy to strike through defenses and employ techniques such as Eagle Seize, Cannon Fist, Advancing Collapse Fist, and half-step collapsing punches. 55 66 112 163
- After advancing to Longwind Lord, condenses an Energy Pellet that strengthens attacks, heals wounds, and forms defensive shields. 56
- Kills Flint City Lord Ye Yuan in close combat after breaking through his psychic defenses. 135 136
Key Spirit Plants & Equipment
- Ghostshadow Sword Orchid / Shadow Sword — Lincon’s first sentient combat Spirit Plant; takes the form of a grass-like black sword, communicates mentally, and is especially effective against shadow abilities. 5 52
- Ancient Maple Guardian — a centuries-old maple evolved into a sentient Tree Spirit that recognizes Lincon as its master. 14
- Sunlight Sunflowers and Solar Sunflower — defensive, food-supporting plants whose light repels weaker Dark Creatures; the Solar Sunflower produces Sunlight and forms Lincon’s armament. 6 53 119
- Reed Assassins — fast, darkness-resistant plant guards capable of firing golden needles and carrying explosive berries. 39
- Fallen Sun Thorncrown — commander of Lincon’s plant army; stores sunlight and can release flames powerful enough to melt targets below C-Class. 104
- Twisted Treant — mobile fortress plant capable of disguising itself as a dark tree, restraining enemies, and serving as Lincon’s concealed shelter near the Abyss Rift. 119 121
- Dragonblood Flood Dragon Vine — C-Class combat plant with crushing strength, corrosive fluid, and dragon-like predatory attacks. 111 112
- Sword-Rain Spirit Orchid — aerial-root Spirit Plant that creates a protective net and fires streams of sword qi. 112
- Delirium Mist Dandelions and Stasis Albizia Tree — layered territorial defenses that inflict hallucinations, memory loss, disorientation, slowed reactions, and physical suppression. 129 130
- Fire God Tree — a mature flame-based Spirit Plant capable of vaporizing Ash Snow across Longwind Fortress. 216
- Seed of Life — a mysterious life-based resource that restores Longwind Fortress’s environment and contributes to its greenery and growth. 27 50
- Rune Stones and Rune Arrays — portable and fixed Rune devices used for purification, reinforcement, defense, and empowering non-specialists. 36 39
- Core of the Spring of Life — one-time healing resource whose Blessing of Lifeforms restores wounded soldiers and damaged Spirit Plants, though it cannot regenerate severed limbs. 202
Relationships
- Dave — An emotionless pre-Dark Age artificial intelligence housed in Lincon’s wristwatch. Dave provides navigation, calculations, and conversation during Lincon’s years of isolation. 1
- Zhang Rui — Lincon’s first subject, governor, and principal administrator. Zhang Rui’s loyalty reaches 100 after Lincon protects him from Flint City, and he becomes Lincon’s trusted counterpart for internal governance and political coercion. 13 34 52 180
- Li Zhouhai — D-Rank body-enhancement Ability User, former sparring partner, and early subject. Lincon suppresses his Mental Pollution rather than expelling him, then grants him an Ecological Contract with a Reed Assassin. 27 73
- Guan Teng — Defense Corps member and later military aide. Lincon gives him Rune Stones in response to his desire for strength, later entrusting him with major military and administrative duties. 39 202
- Luo Qian — Young watchman and Rune Warrior who sees Lincon as a protector. Lincon intervenes when the Wraith Hand threatens to assimilate Luo Qian and begins seeking a lasting solution for Rune Warriors. 56 98
- Zhou Qing — Initially a hostile Black Iron City investigator, later a Formal Subject and Longwind Fortress’s Foreign Affairs Officer. Their relationship evolves from intimidation and negotiation into formal allegiance. 34 35 185

- Luo Chiyou — B-Class wind Ability User who initially betrays Lincon during their temporary alliance. After the Abyssal Ant Queen’s consciousness is erased from her body, Lincon promises to preserve her diary. 122 201
- Ghostshadow Sword Orchid — Lincon’s earliest sentient Spirit Plant and weapon. He treats it as a companion, preserves it after its destruction in the Pale Wraith battle, and restores it through cultivation. 5 56
- The missing Longwind Fortress comrades — Lincon’s original reason for surviving and traveling through the darkness; he continues searching for them long after believing they may be dead. 1
