Richard left the hospital after Doctor Strange helped get him fired, then trained with Ancient One and developed magic powered by his own divine power. After crossing into a parallel world and destroying the Red Mountain Group, he returned to Christine and began planning a medical company with Simmons.
Richard survived the New York Sanctum attack, joined S.H.I.E.L.D. as an external consultant, and pursued the people behind the attacks on doctors and the Federer Laboratory. After saving Tony Stark and uncovering clues tied to Phoenix Biotech, Richard traveled to Raccoon City, where he entered the Hive and began confronting the T-Virus outbreak.
Richard confronted Umbrella, stopped the zombie horde, and released an antidote that saved Raccoon City. After Jill chose to remain in her world and Richard took elderly Alicia to a cloning institute, he traveled to an unfamiliar world and drew the pursuit of its Heavenly Punishment System.
Richard dismantled the Red Mountain Group’s plot, took charge of a circle of young HYDRA agents, and helped Natasha and Melina reclaim the Red Room. At Kamar-Taj, he prepared Kaecilius to help trap Dormammu, then returned with a copied set of runes while the red cloak regretted staying behind.
Richard helped Kamar-Taj trap Dormammu, then captured Blackheart and forced Mephisto to return Sara and Lucas Kaecilius’s souls. The arc left Richard planning to attack the Dark and Hell Dimensions and unite HYDRA and S.H.I.E.L.D. against alien threats.
Richard confronted threats on Earth, exposed Skrull infiltration, and rescued the Barton family before leaving to pursue his alter egos across other worlds. After surviving a bioengineered apocalypse and dismantling the Assassin Brotherhood’s corrupt leadership, he befriended beings on the Source Planet of Life and continued his journey.
Richard and Old Li freed Source Star from the Thing of Ultimate Evil and forged a Human Sovereign Banner from its lingering spirits. Back on Earth, Richard rescued Vivian, learned of Skrull infiltration through Maria Hill, and placed her in command of the Red Room.
Richard consolidated his Crimson believers, rescued and transformed the Widows, and helped Tony take in Wanda and Pietro as the Skrull conflict escalated. He then traveled to Source Star to clear its dungeons and bosses, freeing the Mother of Source Star, but discovered that he and Clone No. 1 could not log off before the world restarted.
Richard and his allies defeated the Illusory World’s hold over Source Star, while Clone No. 1 became Li Ze and Richard gained new power. Richard returned to Kamar-Taj and continued managing the Skrull threat and his growing organization, as fresh trouble erupted in Harlem.
Richard separated Hulk from Bruce Banner, persuaded Tiamut to protect Earth, and began drawing Tony Stark into the conflict with HYDRA. As HYDRA’s threat list drove its leaders to eliminate targets, Zola survived in a new form and Rumlow considered defecting to Baron Strucker.
The exposure of Nick Fury’s secrets triggered a coup at the Triskelion, a global warrant, and attacks on S.H.I.E.L.D. bases, while Richard backed Baron Strucker’s takeover and confronted Carol Danvers at Kamar-Taj. The arc ended with Richard’s attempt to use the Space Stone releasing Carol’s sealed power and leaving her poised to attack him.
Richard defeated the Skrulls’ plans, pursued the Infinity Stones, and used their combined power to strengthen his Crimson Mana while confronting a lingering influence. Back on Earth, he collected money from Nick Fury and began arranging to acquire New York Presbyterian Hospital, where armed men forced a shareholder to sign away his shares.
Richard consolidated control of the hospital and sent allies into the Mechanoid Profound Realm as Natasha and Yelena entered the Divine Realm Dungeon. After defeating the Sunset God and resolving Bridget’s family tragedy, Natasha returned to the Marvel world while Yelena continued fighting Zombies with Kaecilius.
Richard trapped Dormammu, helped Natasha locate the Dark Dimension’s imprisoned rebels, and freed Umar, leaving the dimension on the brink of war. Back on Earth, Richard confronted Nick Fury over his dealings with the Skrulls and placed him under the Red Order’s authority to help counter them.
Richard led the Red Order’s campaign against the Skrulls, confronted Odin and Hela in Asgard, and acquired the Orb of Agamotto. After Thor was exiled to Earth and Loki seized power, Richard returned to Kamar-Taj and assigned Mordo to teach Stephen Strange.
Richard left Earth’s affairs to his allies, rescued the survivors of Raccoon City, and reunited with people across parallel worlds. Meanwhile, Richard’s counterpart and Old Bryan fought to rescue Kim from human traffickers, while new dangers emerged in Hong Kong and New Mexico.
Richard captured Mephisto’s Clone and Blackheart, used their Death Law fragments to build Valhalla, and drew hostile forces into the New Mexico desert. The mist became a battlefield where resurrected warriors and sorcerers faced the Fear Legion as it breached the War Fortress.
Richard and his allies turned the tide across the White Mist sectors while Lucy evolved beyond the mirror dimension and passed her knowledge to Richard. As Richard prepared to confront the invading dimensional powers, a warship attacked Asgard and Algrim broke into Loki’s prison.
Loki’s betrayal, death, and return through the multiverse led him to the Time Variance Authority, while Odin and Earth faced Mephisto’s invasion. Richard entered Hell to rescue the Incubi and uncovered Mephisto’s imprisoned Archdemons, draining them in pursuit of the Heart of the Hell Dimension.
Richard secured the Hell Dimension Heart for Natasha, who seized control of Hell, while Hela claimed her place as Asgard’s heir and confronted Thor. The arc ended with Richard reviving Tony’s parents and revealing a plan to expand the Crimson Church’s star exploration effort.
