The clone learned that the realm was a sentient virtual game world and that the Mother of Source Star needed him to clear its dungeons and field bosses to break free of its control.

• Mother of Source Star took Qinglan back to Origin Land and asked Richard to clear 3,789 Dungeons and 5,431 Field Bosses to expose the Connection Channel to the Illusory World Core.
