Background

Qian Xunji accepted Bibi Dong as his disciple after she awakened Twin Martial Souls and Innate Full Soul Power at a Spirit Hall orphanage. He elevated her to Holy Maiden and actively cultivated public support for her eventual succession to the papal throne. 1

When Bibi Dong brought Ling Jing to Pope’s Hall, Qian Xunji correctly identified Ling Jing’s Martial Soul as the Mirror Beast Emperor rather than an ordinary Mirror Beast.
