And yet, this world had not been reduced to rubble. The key was the Mysterious Capital Palace. Drawing on its vast reserves of Earth Immortals, it had joined forces with the Buddhist School, the Devil Sect, the East Sea Sword Palace, and others to set earth, water, fire, and wind back in order, bring Yin and Yang into balance, and use its great "net" to counter the force tearing heaven and earth apart.
The rupture had still left irreversible scars on the world. Take the Eastern Sea: after heaven and earth cracked, the northwest "Qian" position became, by the laws of the world, its highest point. Water followed its nature and gathered in the east, forming the boundless expanse of the Eastern Sea.
The northern and southern poles had naturally become the weakest points of the Ninefold Heavenly Firmament. The Mysterious Capital Palace had been forced to fortify both places, lest they become stepping stones for Outer Heavenly Demons invading this world.
As the waters flowed east and gathered in the Eastern Sea, they inevitably generated a natural thrust. To dispel it, the Mysterious Capital Palace had to establish all manner of prohibitions. In accordance with the laws of the world, these formed the so-called Heavenly Waterfall—a magnificent sight at the far edge of the Eastern Sea, where endless waves surged upward like a waterfall rushing against the Azure Heaven.
These measures proved the transcendent might of a colossus like the Mysterious Capital Palace. They had also changed the entire world, both visibly and invisibly.
