"You're not making an appearance?" Su Lin asked Klein. "I'm surprised you'd pass up the chance."

"My style clashes with yours. I know when to give others the spotlight." Klein watched gods and immortals descend, overwhelming the Beasts of the Apocalypse. "If I had my way, I'd watch it like a movie, with popcorn. What a show!"

As he spoke, the frigid creation wreathed in drifting ice crystals—Uranus's Aristoteles—stepped into an earth-vein array laid by Source Heavenly Art. Heavenly Flames clung to the Bagua formation shaped from the earth veins' divine power, scorching space itself.

"What if I insist you make an appearance?" Su Lin set down his teacup and smiled. "Lu Mingfei and Shirou Emiya have left your performance this month in the dust."

From that kindly smile, Klein felt something he hadn't felt in ages: the presence of a corporate supervisor.

"Surely it hasn't come to that. Fine, fine." Klein sighed and rose. He took the cane offered by "Sherlock Moriarty" and donned the hat handed over by "Dawn Dantes."

"You're asking a lot. I'm a Seer, and you want me competing onstage with those monsters."

"It's an obvious trap, but you'd better speak to Shirou Emiya first."
