Now, as Buddhism and Daoism vied for supremacy, the Buddhist Sect's chosen bearer of calamity would shoulder the task of saving the world and lead his disciples to Spirit Mountain in the Western Paradise to obtain Mahayana Buddhism and deliver all living beings.

But heaven's weather was unpredictable. The chosen bearers of calamity—Tang Sanzang, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, Sha Wujing, and White Dragon—had long since fallen for unknown reasons, leaving their positions vacant.

At present, the Emperor of Tang awaited an eminent monk in Chang'an City to travel west and obtain Mahayana Buddhism.]

[Quest objective: take the places of the five westward travelers and complete the Journey to the West.]

[Choose a Scripture-Seeker's relic to temporarily assume his identity and inherit part of his cultivation and divine abilities until the instance quest is complete. Once the quest is complete, that cultivation will be retained permanently.]

[Team-battle instance (calamity) quest: each Reincarnator squad will receive corresponding identities. Killing demons, monsters, immortals, gods, Buddhas, and other beings along the westward road will earn points. Killing an opposing Reincarnator earns 100 points. Once a squad reaches 1,000 points, it may leave the instance and exchange its points for Reincarnation Points.

Note: Tang Sanzang's flesh is a peerless medicine. Killing Tang Sanzang, the Scripture-Seeker, grants a hidden reward. Consuming his flesh in the prescribed manner grants substantial cultivation and merit.]
