History

Early Tribulations

Ji Hao's early confrontations with Heaven and Earth are defined by increasingly extreme Heavenly Tribulations. During the Chaos Divine Thunder tribulation, his body is repeatedly shattered and reconstructed while the Heavenly Palace sends Emperor Weapon manifestations to kill him. The trial culminates in the Immortal Ascension Cauldron crushing him into blood, from which he restores himself through the Living Flame and Divine Sense. 23

Heaven's subsequent tests become more elaborate. It reacts to the evolution of the Saint Spirit Furnace, then produces Emperor-level projections during Ji Hao's later tribulations. Ji Hao uses these battles to refine his Dao, weapons, Divine Eyes, and combat methods instead of merely enduring punishment. 39 47 48 50

Recording Ji Hao

Heaven and Earth begins recording Ji Hao as a tribulation manifestation during Taihao Incarnation's breakthrough. The appearance of Ji Hao's Humanoid Lightning projection among historic Heavenly Emperor figures establishes that his existence has entered the cosmic record. 297

During Ji Hao's Chaotic Body tribulation, Heaven and Earth produces a Lightning image of Ji Hao after he defeats nine youthful Great Emperor phantoms. The resulting nine Ji Hao projections push him to the brink of exhaustion and lead to the reappearance of the Transmuting Self Freedom Technique. 339

Contesting Heavenly Authority

Ji Hao repeatedly refuses to accept Heaven's arrangements without alteration. He destroys the will within the Source of the Dao, replaces it with his own Highest Clarity Qi, and converts a treasure of heavenly authority into an artifact under his absolute control. 332

When creating the Yuanshi Dao Body, Ji Hao uses the List of Gods to conceal his karma. Heaven and Earth consequently mistakes his breakthrough for that of an unknown cultivator, allowing him to leap from Half-Saint to Saint King without normal suppression. 360
