Background

Ji Hao is a transmigrator who awakened in the world of cultivation after spending thousands of years sealed in Divine Source due to his frail body and inherited death energy. He identifies himself as the grandson of the Flame Emperor and son of the Yellow Emperor; his blood also carries the laws of the Void Emperor and Hengyu Great Emperor. This inheritance gives him extraordinary potential, but the conflicting Imperial Dao fragments make attaining the Dao far more difficult. 1 4 25

The death energy originates from two sentient Emperor Corpses within his bloodline. The Yellow Emperor originally sealed this power in Ji Hao’s Wheel Sea so that he could resolve its life-and-death principles himself, but the suppression deteriorates after Ji Hao reaches Mars. Rather than follow the prescribed path, Ji Hao activates his Dao Palace and uses the vitality of the Wa Huang Scripture to preserve his Life Spring. 7
