Background
Ye Fan visits Mount Tai with former classmates, where he encounters the apparently frail young Ji Hao. Moved by Ji Hao’s claim that he is alone, Ye Fan invites him to join the reunion and rebukes Liu Yunzhi for treating him as an unwanted outsider 1.
Although Ye Fan does not know Ji Hao’s true identity, Ji Hao recognizes him immediately as the future Heavenly Emperor and identifies his dormant constitution as the Desolate Ancient Sacred Body 1. Ji Hao also determines that Ye Fan’s journey through the Five-Colored Altar is unavoidable because of the immense karmic ties surrounding him 3.

Mount Tai and Nine Dragons Pulling a Coffin
Ye Fan meets Ji Hao during the Mount Tai reunion and becomes one of the few people able to speak with him comfortably. As the Nine Dragons and Bronze Ancient Coffin descend, Ye Fan grows suspicious of Ji Hao’s knowledge but cannot obtain a clear explanation 1 2.
When the Five-Colored Altar activates, Ye Fan and the other travelers are forcibly drawn into the Bronze Ancient Coffin and launched onto an interstellar journey 3.
Yinghuo Ancient Star
On Mars, Ye Fan remains comparatively calm while the group struggles to accept that they have left Earth. He trusts Ji Hao enough to step aside when asked and later helps organize the survivors’ retreat from the crocodile demons and the escaping Crocodile Ancestor 5 8.
During Ji Hao’s battle with Crocodile Ancestor, Ye Fan witnesses the Xuanyuan Sword and overhears the demon identify Ji Hao as the son of a Human Emperor, deepening his awareness of the cultivation world’s hidden history 10.
Journey to the Big Dipper
Inside the Bronze Ancient Coffin, Ye Fan recognizes the legendary Xuanyuan Sword from its engravings and begins connecting Ji Hao’s surname with the Yellow Emperor 11 12.
The sprouting Bodhi Seed and the Emperor Scripts send Ye Fan into enlightenment. Ji Hao considers this a major opportunity and instructs Pang Bo to protect Ye Fan while he meditates 13.
When Ye Fan asks where the travelers are headed, Ji Hao reveals that their destination is the Big Dipper, a flourishing world of cultivators 15.
Desolate Ancient Forbidden Zone
After arriving in the Desolate Ancient Forbidden Zone, Ye Fan becomes increasingly convinced that Ji Hao is an ancient senior from the Yan-Huang lineage. He privately considers claiming kinship in hopes of inheriting Ji Hao’s treasures, only to be embarrassed when Ji Hao appears beside him 18.
Ye Fan and Pang Bo accompany Ji Hao to the Nine Wonders Immortal Medicine. At Ji Hao’s urging, both consume the fruits and collect Sacred Spring Water before withdrawing from the dangerous area 18.
