Background / History

Ji Hao first forged the artifact from his Divine Bridge. The Other Shore Golden Bridge created a temporary world, but that world collapsed under earth, wind, water, and fire. Rather than let the bridge be destroyed, Ji Hao transformed it into yin-yang qi and condensed the qi into the Tai Chi Diagram. He intended it to complement his sword embryo: one artifact for offense and one for defense 12.

During Ji Hao’s Four Extremes heavenly tribulation, the diagram repeatedly shielded him and his divine sense from lightning. It was heavily damaged by Chaos Divine Thunder and temporarily reverted to qi, but survived long enough for Ji Hao to restore himself and create the Taiji Seal 22.

Ji Hao later reforged its crude embryo during another heavenly tribulation. He combined it with the broken Eternal Blue Gold Sword, Chaos Divine Thunder, and Nine-Colored Divine Fire inside the Saint Spirit Furnace. The completed diagram became capable of alternating freely between its circular yin-yang form and the Other Shore Golden Bridge 47.

After the Emperor Weapon tribulation, chaotic radiance and humanoid lightning left permanent Dao Marks upon the artifact. It began to generate Laws of its own, making it an evolving natal divine weapon rather than a static Vessel 51.

As Ji Hao’s cultivation advanced, he continually fed the diagram tribulation essence, Dao Laws, and sacrificial materials. By the time of his later campaigns, it had surpassed its Eternal Blue Gold foundation through the sacrifice of two Heavens and Myriad Realms, becoming a supreme divine weapon capable of defending against Immortal Kings and protecting entire regions of heaven and earth 615 673 674.

Appearance

The Tai Chi Diagram is a circular artifact of interwoven black-and-white yin-yang energies. Its two opposing halves remain unified, expressing balance, natural Dao, suppression, and transcendence 47.

Source of the Dao Refinement

Ji Hao uses the Other Shore Golden Bridge and the Swallowing Heaven Demon Lid to suppress and erase the Source of the Dao’s original heavenly will. The diagram’s ability to cut off a target from the outside world is decisive to the refinement 332.

Later Quasi-Emperor Battles
