Saint
Shrouding the Heavens: I, Jiang Ming, the Eternal Demon EmperorBiodata
| Feature | Value |
|---|---|
| Name | Saint (圣人) |
| Occupation/Role | A high-ranking cultivator; the term is also used for a distinct form of sainthood in the Primordial Wilderness 397 891 892. |
Cultivation Rank
| Rank | Documented distinction |
|---|---|
| Saint | Possesses Saint might and Saint Dao Traces. Saints can advance through numbered Heavenly Layers 397 473. |
| Saint King | A rank above Saint; Jiang Ming seeks a breakthrough into it after reaching Saint 504 505. |
| Great Saint | A rank above Saint King. Great Saints are powerful enough to serve as major deterrents between factions 417 565. |
- Realm is not the same as combat strength. When Jiang Ming becomes a Saint, his body and Primordial Spirit are already comparable to a Great Saint’s First Heaven, but his Dao Traces remain those of a Saint 397.
- A personal Dao matters at this level. Saints must develop their own methods and perfect a Saint Dao Fruit rather than rely entirely on inherited techniques 543 566.
Forms and Examples
- Jiang Ming — enters the Saint Realm with a Strength Saint Dao Fruit, applying its principle of “breaking ten thousand techniques with strength” through both body and Primordial Spirit 397.
- Female Saint Spirit — advances directly to first-level Saint with Jiang Ming’s help, bypassing the Half-Saint stage 286.
- Primordial Creature Saints — Saint-level beings also exist outside the Human Race; Jiang Ming’s Vermilion Bird Deity sees one sealed in Golden Divine Source 231.
Primordial Wilderness Sainthood
The Primordial Wilderness uses Saint for a different state tied to Heavenly Dao authority. Saints fused with a fragment of that authority are described as enduring as long as the Heavenly Dao remains. Jiang Ming, as a Great Dao Saint, demonstrates an exception by separating Daoist Zhunti from that authority and killing him 891 892.
