Innate Potential and Bottlenecks

They provide absolute suppression over the corresponding attribute and combat strength beyond ordinary Soul Masters of the same rank, but cultivation is comparatively slower 71.

• Possessing a Martial Soul with ultimate potential does not automatically mean its user has developed an Ultimate Attribute 71.
• The Evil Fire Phoenix and Six-Winged Angel are cited as Martial Souls with such potential, but their ring choices and development must specifically pursue the attribute for it to qualify as ultimate 71.

Martial Soul Fusion Skills

Compatible Martial Souls can combine into a Martial Soul Fusion Skill with power exceeding their separate capabilities. Lin Yue and Tang Yin combine his blood-infused power with her Clear Sky Hammer to produce the Hellblood Demon God, Great Annihilation Hammer, killing the Red Flood Dragon Blood Lizard 27 52.

• The fusion produces a crimson hammer phantom and a demon-god manifestation, with destructive force and bloodline pressure that astonish Tang Hao 27 52.
• Fusion can impose substantial exhaustion and mental strain. Tang Yin is left shaken by the murderous aura after using the skill 27.

Combat roles are not absolute limits on a cultivator’s abilities. Berserk’s speed bonuses make Lin Yue partly comparable to an agility attacker, while Dugu Yan’s evolved skills add defense and allied protection to her poison-based combat style 28 77.

Soul Bones and Soul Tools

• Spirit Bones are rare treasures that can grant attached skills, reinforce the body, and in some cases evolve a Martial Soul 28 30 31.
