He commands his department to comply with the new policies, while continuing to demand that the Soul Tool Department's growth not come at the expense of the Martial Soul Department's essential work 8 14.

Corruption Purge and Holy Spirit Cult Attack

Yan Shaozhe publicly accepts the redistribution of resources despite his frustration, then proves his loyalty during the Inquisitorial Legion investigation. He leads arrests in Shrek City's western district, captures eleven suspects, and turns them over to Sea God Pavilion without seeking leniency for anyone 14 15.

During the Holy Spirit Cult's assault, he deploys Phoenix Descent in Shrek's coordinated counterattack. Feng Ling's arrival briefly destabilizes him, but he rejects her invitation to abandon Shrek and remains at Cai Mei'er's side 19 20.

As negotiations draw stronger representatives from across the continent, he also recognizes that Kong Deming's personal arrival makes the situation more complicated 46 52.

Rise to Rank 96 and War Mobilization

Yan Shaozhe gains a Rank 96 breakthrough from the Golden Ancient Tree's transformation, reinforcing Shrek's senior leadership 61. He later assists Cai Mei'er in organizing the Inquisitorial Legion, contacting outside Titled Douluo, and preparing the Firmament Tribunal's branch stations for the continent-wide campaign against Evil Soul Masters 62.

The opportunity begins when Sea God's Light, Life Gold, and the ancient tree's accumulated wood-origin essence transform it into a Half-Life Tree. Yan joins the other elders in meditation beneath its renewed branches and absorbs its life energy 59.

After the cultivation period, he reports that the Three Empires and major sects have submitted their initial personnel lists and branch-station plans. He also relays proposals from the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineering Academy and Illustrious Virtue Hall for negotiations in Maple Leaf City 61.

Mu En redirects the gathering toward war and orders Yan to muster every Inner Court Inquisitorial Legion member and recall all Shrek Titled Douluo stationed or training elsewhere within seven days. Yan and Cai Mei'er are subsequently assigned to finalize personnel for the first thirty-two Tribunal branch stations and complete their preparations within ten days 61 62.

Northern Border Awakening and Ma Xiaotao's Recruitment

Yan Shaozhe represents Shrek at the Northern Border martial soul awakening pilot program. After Du Busi formally opens the proceedings, Yan directs twelve veteran awakeners to test the assembled children in order 84.

The discovery of a six-year-old girl with the Evil Fire Phoenix martial soul and Innate Full Soul Power immediately attracts his attention. He recognizes the martial soul as an inheritance that has been absent for ten thousand years and resolves to recruit her for Shrek. The subsequent appearance of two other exceptional children—a Mechanical Core wielder and a blood-type Body Martial Soul wielder—tempers his excitement with concern that a wider upheaval may be approaching 85.

Once the awakenings end, Yan claims Ma Xiaotao for Shrek through the Tribunal's recruitment arrangements and sends word to Sea God Pavilion. His own phoenix martial soul makes him particularly eager to teach her 86.
