Background

Yu Xiaogang was a Rank-99 Peerless Douluo in his previous life who nearly completed a Self-Created Godhood. His original Rank-half innate Soul Power left flaws in his foundation, causing his ascension attempt to fail. He reincarnated in a child’s body with his former memories, insight, Divine Sense, and a limited reserve of Divine Power intact. 1

After realizing he had arrived in a world where another Yu Xiaogang already existed, he convinced Yu Yuanzhen that he was his son from another world. He explained that Luo Sanpao had not been a true malignant mutation, but an incomplete evolution caused by his former weak body at awakening. 1
