Background

Dark God is one of the God Realm's neutral Seven Elemental Gods and a First-Level Main God. He maintains an ordinary colleague relationship with Asura God, though he resents Asura's earlier interference with a successor favored by Light God. 36

Asura recruits him into a secret plan surrounding Yu Xiaogang's rebirth and prospective ascension. Dark God initially objects to the scheme's apparent violations of divine law, but agrees after Asura promises to accept full responsibility if Yu Xiaogang is corrupted by the Gold Dragon King's origin fragment or otherwise fails. 36 37

After observing Yu Xiaogang's defense of him as more righteous and generous than Rakshasa God, Dark God develops a strongly favorable view of the mortal. He is alarmed by Yu Xiaogang's Gold Dragon King aura and Ultimate Strength attribute, but supports the plan for Yu Xiaogang to create a Saint Radiant Dragon King Godhood and ultimately reach God King status through fusion with Light Godhood. 36 38

Personality

Dark God is irreverent, sharp-tongued, and pragmatic. He openly mocks divine rules when Asura God—the acting law enforcer—is already manipulating those rules, yet he still insists that an inheritor must meet genuine standards rather than receive godhood casually. 37 38

He is unusually candid with Bibi Dong about the dangers of his inheritance. Rather than concealing the consequences of failure, he explains that failure in her second trial could permanently damage her divine soul and prevent her from ever reaching the Divine Rank. 49

His desire to retire from godhood makes him impatient to accelerate both Bibi Dong's and Yu Xiaogang's advancement. This impatience leads him to exploit loopholes, assist with Yu Xiaogang's trials, and encourage Light God to do the same. 65 66 72

He later confirms to Yu Xiaogang that the rebirth was not accidental, refuses to reveal the full scheme behind it, and hints that Yu Xiaogang's path can be adapted beyond the limits of an ordinary First-Level God. 37 38

Dark God then becomes central to Bibi Dong's change of divine allegiance. He accepts her after she abandons the Rakshasa God Trial, defends her choice before the God Realm, and establishes a transparent trial path meant to make her master darkness rather than be consumed by it. 38 40 47 49

While Yu Xiaogang advances through the Light Nine Trials, Dark God covertly engineers opportunities for him, including the Gilded Ancestral Dragon and an accelerated Slaughter City schedule.
