"Here, take these things back. But before that, can I ask what you need this equipment for? Don't tell me you're planning to sneak into the girls' dormitory again?"
In Dumbledore's Office, Roy and Dumbledore sat on opposite sides of Dumbledore's desk. On the desk lay the silent infiltration devices Roy had previously used to sneak into the Slytherin Common Room.
Roy had asked Dumbledore for these things several days ago. With so many treasures of every kind on hand, Dumbledore had not thought much of the stealth equipment he had confiscated from Roy. He had taken it for a children's prank kit and tossed it into the bottom of a box. Now that Roy wanted it back, Dumbledore had spent several days finding the set. Only then did he get the chance to properly examine the equipment Roy had made in just three hours—and then Dumbledore changed his mind.
"I want to improve it. Didn't I develop a new spell recently? That spell has a very deadly side effect. I want to optimize this equipment and turn it into something that can suppress that side effect."
At Roy's words, the somewhat languid Dumbledore immediately straightened up.
"A spell you developed yourself? That is quite an extraordinary accomplishment. If you were willing to publish it, you might even earn a Second Class Order of Merlin."
Roy shrugged at Dumbledore's words. The spell was not that easy to learn, and as a combat spell, most people could not withstand that level of dizziness.
"I'll pass. It's my trump card in duels. Besides, its side effect isn't as simple as you think. Most people can't cast it while enduring that degree of dizziness."
Dumbledore raised an eyebrow.
"The side effect is that serious? Don't tell me it's some kind of Dark Magic
