Kirito sought the route to the moon while rival villages and Madara Uchiha’s schemes destabilized the ninja world. After Kirito defeated Orochimaru and experimented with Zero-Tail’s Dark Chakra, Madara learned that his Rinnegan had been tampered with and assembled Orochimaru and the revived Third Mizukage.

• Kirito gave Tsunade White Zetsu for research, demonstrated Wood Release, and told her about Madara Uchiha and the Rinnegan, though she suspected he was withholding secrets.
• Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan signed Mount Myōboku’s Summoning Scroll, while the toad Sages debated whether to involve themselves in the coming upheaval.
• Kirito sought knowledge of the moon’s passage from Sage Slug and the White Snake Sage, then memorized Hamura Otsutsuki’s spatial Sealing Formation after overcoming Ryūchi Cave’s trials.
• Madara Uchiha and Black Zetsu discussed expanding their organization through Hiruko and considered using Orochimaru to gain access to Ryūchi Cave.
• Kirito’s Uchiha Clone captured Zero-Tail, sealed its Dark Chakra, and took Shennong’s soul, while Yahiko defeated the White Mask and claimed his Jade Ring.
• Kirito’s attempt to open a space-time black hole failed, and Hiruzen learned of Orochimaru’s human experiments before Jiraiya, Minato Namikaze, and Karen Hyuga confronted the defector.
• Kirito defeated Orochimaru at the Valley of the End and appeared to destroy him, but Madara Uchiha later revived him, while Tsunade ordered investigations into Orochimaru’s laboratories.
• Kirito used Zero-Tail to transfer Dark Emotion from Madara Uchiha’s Rinnegan into a Three-Tomoe Sharingan, evolving it into a Mangekyō Sharingan, and Madara summoned Orochimaru and the revived Third Mizukage.

Kirito’s forces seized the Giant Tenseigan as Madara escalated his campaign, capturing Tailed Beasts and pushing the villages toward war. The arc ended with Konoha allied to Mount Myōboku while Madara prepared attacks on the sacred land and the remaining villages.

• Kirito’s Uchiha Clone defeated Toneri Otsutsuki on the moon, and the White Zetsu Clone purified and claimed the Giant Tenseigan.
• Kazuma Hyuga rejected the Main House Elders’ demand to claim the Tenseigan, while Kirito backed the Branch House and refused to hand it to the Main House.
• Madara Uchiha ordered Akasuna and Sunagakure to attack Iwagakure, while Orochimaru captured Roshi and Madara sealed the Four-Tails into the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
• Sunagakure’s puppet army overwhelmed Iwagakure’s forces and captured Kitsuchi, while Konoha sent Hiruzen Sarutobi and reinforcements to support Iwagakure.
• Madara attacked Ryūchi Cave, captured the White Snake Sage, and turned her into an Animal Path Pain after she fled to a hidden Cold Pool.
• Sage Fukasaku persuaded the Great Toad Sage to abandon Mount Myōboku’s neutrality, and Kirito secured an alliance with the toads in exchange for training five Sages.
• Madara ordered White Zetsu to monitor Mount Myōboku and told Black Zetsu to accelerate plans against Kumogakure and Kirigakure so he could obtain more Tailed Beast power.
