Background

Jun Lin was originally an overworked online novelist from Blue Star who died from staying up late. He reincarnated on the Douluo Continent with his memories intact and pursued power partly because godhood offered eternal life. 1

His parents, Jun An and Mulan, were commoner mercenaries and three-ring Soul Elders. They died during a soul-beast hunt, leaving him orphaned with several hundred Gold Soul Coins in a Soul Tool. Their former classmate, Director Su, later waived Jun Lin’s tuition at Notting Junior Soul Master Academy. 1

At six, Jun Lin awakened Innate Full Soul Power alongside the apparently weak Blue Light Martial Soul. His encounter with Ah Yin at the academy triggered the binding of the Wish-Point System, creating the foundation for his later cultivation, resources, and alliances. 1 2

He is also inventive and persistent. His attempt to recreate the King’s Treasury failed repeatedly over years, but he ultimately adapted the concept to the Lord of Elements rather than abandoning it. 6

Despite his opportunism, Jun Lin is protective toward those he accepts as family.
