The room was not large, but it was kept very clean.
A single bed was made with faded white cotton sheets. A desk lamp sat on the bedside table, and beside it stood a simple wooden wardrobe.
There was a small desk by the window, with a tiny pothos plant sitting on top.
"The conditions are modest, so please make do for the night." Little Li scratched his head. "The bathroom is at the end of the hall, and hot water is available until eleven at night. If the blanket is too thin, there are spare ones in the wardrobe."
"It's already very good. Thank you."
"Then get some rest early." Little Li waved, turned to leave, and closed the door behind him.
Xinhai set his Spatial Backpack beside the desk and gently lifted Eevee from his shoulder.
The moment Eevee touched the floor, it darted onto the bed and rolled around on the soft cotton sheets, its fluffy tail swishing contentedly.
It always adapted to new surroundings the fastest. At the moment, it was pawing at the pillow, trying to shape it into something more suitable for sleeping.
Gardevoir gracefully floated to the window, her red eyes gazing through the glass at the forest shrouded in night.
Outside, everything was quiet, with only the rustle of the night wind passing through the treetops and the occasional low cry of Pokémon in the distance.
Xinhai sat on the edge of the bed and prepared the Pokémon food from his backpack. Then he removed several of his partners' Poké Balls from his waist and released them for dinner.
Since the room was rather small, Xinhai split his partners into two groups for their meal.
The first group naturally consisted of the little ones, along with the recently recovered Blaziken and Mightyena.
