As Xinhai approached the stalls offering flight experiences, he realized the area had been divided into several different sections.
Each section was served by different Flying-type Pokémon—the Pidgeot Area, with its moderately sized Pokémon, had the longest line, mostly young people who liked cool-looking Pokémon;
The Tropius Area, with its massive Pokémon, attracted many families with children, where parents and children experienced flying together;
Meanwhile, the Altaria Area's line consisted mostly of young female Trainers, along with a few boys who looked especially adventurous.
Xinhai's gaze swept across the different sections before finally settling on the Altaria Area.
For no other reason than that its line was relatively shorter.
"We'll go over there." Xinhai pointed toward Altaria's stall and walked over to join the line while carrying the three little ones.
After waiting around ten minutes, it was finally their turn.
A young woman in a light-blue uniform received them, a professionally warm smile on her face.
"Hello! Welcome to the Altaria flight experience!" Her gaze fell on Eevee perched on Xinhai's shoulder and Axew in his arms, and understanding flashed through her eyes. "Would you like to bring your partners along?"
"Can we?" Xinhai asked.
"Of course!" The staff member nodded. "But we'll need to arrange a larger Altaria for you. Please wait a moment. I'll coordinate that."
She turned and entered the temporary enclosure behind the stall, speaking quietly for a few moments with a middle-aged man who looked like a Trainer.
The man looked up at Xinhai, his eyes passing over Eevee on his shoulder and Blaziken and Gardevoir at his side, then nodded slightly.
Before long, an Altaria noticeably larger than others of its kind was brought out.
Its feathers were white as snow, carrying a soft sheen beneath the sunlight. Its fluffy wings were folded
