Eevee on Xinhai's shoulder immediately poked its head out. Its large brown eyes quickly swept the area before it let out a slightly anxious cry.
"Vee!" (Xinhai, everyone's gone again!)
Xinhai nodded, drawing his gaze back from the faintly glowing Tree of Nature in the distance. His voice remained steady. "I noticed too. Wait a moment. Gardevoir should—"
Before he could finish, a blue-white light flared at his side.
Gardevoir's elegant white figure emerged from the light. The instant its red eyes saw Xinhai, it visibly relaxed.
"Vee!" Eevee cried out in delight, its fluffy tail wagging happily behind it.
Smiling, Xinhai stepped forward and gently took Gardevoir's hand. "Can you sense where everyone is?"
Gardevoir closed its eyes. Light flowed through its red eyes as an invisible Psychic Field spread outward like ripples.
A moment later, it opened its eyes and nodded slightly.
I can. Blaziken, Mightyena, Zigzagoon, Krokorok... and the newly joined Grovyle. I can sense all of their locations, Gardevoir's Telepathy rang out in Xinhai's mind.
They're all nearby. I'll bring them over now.
Xinhai nodded. "Thanks for the effort."
Gardevoir vanished again in a blue-white flash.
On its first teleport, it brought back Blaziken and Mightyena.
The moment Blaziken landed, it quickly looked Xinhai over. After confirming that he was unharmed, it gave a slight nod and stood steadily at his side.
Mightyena rubbed its head against Xinhai's leg and let out a low "Rrr" from its throat.
On the second teleport, Zigzagoon and Krokorok appeared in the light.
The instant Zigzagoon saw Xinhai, its aqua-blue eyes lit up, and it scampered over to his feet.
Krokorok gently bumped Xinhai's arm with its thick, powerful arms, a trace of relief flashing through its dark red eyes.
On the final trip, Gardevoir brought back Grovyle.
