World Origin

Robin saw Yake's confusion and traced the shape of a planet with both hands.

"Intelligent planets in the Multiverse give birth to a Planetary Origin, also known as a World Origin."

"Absorbing its power wholesale is equivalent to enslaving an entire world. You can only slowly erode its power. At first, your strength will rise quickly, but the more planets you enslave, the heavier the burden becomes. If you want to rapidly digest all that energy, you can only keep devouring planets to obtain even more energy, creating a vicious cycle."

"Fortunately, the world you devoured had already reached its end. Its Origin was nearly depleted, so it did not have much of an impact."

Yake roughly understood what Robin meant. Simply and brutally seizing worlds and incorporating them into his own dimension was not a good idea. From Robin's tone, there had to be a better method.

"The way mages gain power is through traveling, acquiring knowledge, strengthening their spells, or participating in the course of a world. Helping a world develop or disrupting it and causing it to decline can both yield Origin."

"But we generally do not interfere with a world's development. We are more often observers. Knowledge is the source of a mage's power, but you are different, so I recommend the second method more."
