The True-Self Perfect One's attainment was profound, and his strength unfathomable. Hawkins could not guess what was happening to him.
Meanwhile, high above, the Slaughter Skeleton also encountered an energy current in the passage to the Feast Sea.
The Slaughter Skeleton was much larger than the Challenger—almost five times its size—and had no room to dodge the current. When they collided, the entire ship shook violently, and a distinct crack appeared in the keel at its bow.
Splinters of bone shot upward in the current, piercing countless Blood Guards before they could react.
"What a powerful energy current. Slaughter Lord, if you don't act, all the Blood Guards will die," Mayeja said from behind him.
Seated atop a skull, the Slaughter Lord replied coldly, "If they can't withstand a mere energy current, what use are they to me?"
"But if all the Blood Guards die, there'll
