At the very bottom of the Sea of Heroes, black lightning struck what had been a tiny fissure, abruptly splitting it into a three-meter-long opening.

A gigantic eye flashed past the opening. Immediately afterward, the entire bottom shook violently, and the opening burst wider, stretching from its original three meters until it finally became a hundred-meter-long rift.
