Qi Ji rose to prominence, helped Tang Wuling unlock the Golden Dragon King's power, and gathered allies while preparing for the Skysea Alliance Grand Tournament. After defeating Shrek's team and confronting Shen Yi, he left Shrek under public scrutiny as Tang Wuling and Gu Yuena turned to their final.
Qi Ji defeated Tang Wuling and Gu Yuena in the tournament final, then gained access to the Tang Sect’s Dragon Tomb with Xie Xie. Inside Dragon Valley, his authority over the dragons became clear, and he finally confronted the Dragon God’s Soul.
Qi Ji completed his transformation in the Dragon Tomb and returned to the outside world with immense power, reuniting with his friends and confronting Yue Zhengyu’s accusations against Yuanen Yehui. He left the arc defending Yuanen Yehui’s right to be judged by her actions rather than her Fallen Angel Martial Soul.
